Blind Systems & Fabrics

Blinds made for this climate.

Roller, sunscreen, roman, vertical and panel blinds, cut to your opening in our Sharjah workshop and fitted anywhere in the UAE. Fabrics chosen for Gulf sun, not European daylight.

Blind systems

Five systems, one workshop.

Each one suits a different window. Tell us the opening, the orientation and what the room is for, and we will tell you which of these belongs there.

01Blackout roller blind lowered over a living room window

Roller Blinds

The default for good reason: minimal stack, minimal hardware, and the widest fabric choice. Chain, spring or motorised, fitted inside the recess or face-fixed above it.

02Sunscreen roller blinds keeping the view through a planted conservatory

Sunscreen Blinds

A roller blind in open-weave technical fabric. Cuts glare and heat, keeps the view. The most useful blind for a UAE living room or office.

03Beige roman blinds fitted across a bright garden-facing window

Roman Blinds

Fabric that folds in soft horizontal pleats. The warmth of a curtain with the footprint of a blind. Well suited to bedrooms and studies.

04Vertical blind louvres angled to control daylight

Vertical Blinds

Rotating louvres that let you angle the light rather than simply block it. Still the most practical choice for large office glazing and tall sliding doors.

05Panel blind sliding across wide glazing

Panel Blinds

Broad flat panels sliding on a multi-track rail. Made for very wide openings, sliding doors and room division where other systems stack too deep.

Motorise any of them

Every system on this page can be supplied with a Somfy, Bolt or Dooya motor, on RTS, WT, RS485 or Matter.

Automation

Tell us the room and the orientation. We will recommend the system and the fabric.

Blind fabrics

Openness factor is the whole decision.

Sunscreen fabric is rated by how much of its surface is open weave. A lower number blocks more sun and gives more privacy; a higher number keeps more of the view. Here is how to choose.

Sunscreen 0% opennessMinimalVery highHighWest-facing glass, screens facing a neighbour, meeting rooms

Note: no sunscreen fabric gives privacy after dark once the room is lit from inside. Where a room needs both view by day and privacy by night, we specify a sunscreen blind with a blackout curtain or a second blackout roller behind it.

01 / BLACKOUT

Blackout Blind Fabric

Coated, light-stopping fabric with a clean face and a stable edge that will not fray on the cut. Stops light at the fabric; combine with side channels where you need to stop it at the edges too.

02 / SUNSCREEN

Sunscreen Blind Fabric

Technical open-weave in 0%, 3% and 5% openness. Dimensionally stable in heat, UV resistant and easy to clean. It does not hold dust the way a soft furnishing does.

03 / ACCESSORY

Side & Centre Channels

Aluminium channels that capture the edge of the blind so light cannot spill down the sides, and a centre channel for wide openings run as two blinds. Essential wherever a room has to go properly dark. Without channels, blackout fabric still leaks a bright line at each edge. Supplied to trade as well. See trade supply
