Choosing between them
Blackout, sunscreen or fire resistant.
Three jobs, three fabrics. The room decides, not the pattern. Start here, then pick the colour.
Blackout
Stops light at the fabric. Bedrooms, hotel rooms, media rooms, and any west-facing glass where heat is the real problem. Pair with side channels if the room genuinely has to go dark.
Sunscreen
Open-weave technical fabric that cuts glare and heat while you keep the view out. Available in 0%, 3% and 5% openness. The lower the number, the more sun it stops and the more privacy you get.
Fire resistant & water proof
For kitchens, wet areas and any space with a fire-rating requirement. Specified regularly in commercial, hospitality and healthcare fit-outs.

Both blackout ranges block effectively all UV. The difference is roll width, weight and fastness, which decide how a tall drop is made and how it wears in Gulf sun.

Fire retardant and anti-bacterial treatments are available across both blackout ranges. Both are water resistant, but neither should be immersed or installed in constant contact with water. Sunscreen openness factors are confirmed per item: see how openness affects view and privacy.
